Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa will lead on Monday the first Command Conference of the year.
In an advisory by the PNP Public Information Office, Dela Rosa is expected to announce at the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame his “command guidance” as part of 2018’s “operational thrusts on anti- criminality, internal security and the national anti-drug campaign.”
Dela Rosa will also be present in the New Year’s Call that will be held before the Command Conference. This would be his last New Year’s Call as he is set to retire from the PNP in around two to three months after President Rodrigo Duterte announced Dela Rosa’s term extension.

Top officials from the PNP Command Group, Directorial and Personal Staff, Police Regional Offices, National Support Units and Separate Units, and their respective spouses pay the traditional New Year’s Call on the PNP chief every January.
Cash and non-cash benefits for PNP officials will also be discussed during the conference. Legislated salary hike for the police and military personnel is also expected to be tackled. /je
