Amihan still blowing clouds over Luzon

/ 08:57 AM January 07, 2018

Northern Luzon skies will be cloudy with scattered rain due to northeast monsoon or amihan, the weather bureau forecasted Sunday.

The amihan will likewise bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley Region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

Pagasa said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms would also be felt over the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, CARAGA, and Davao region due to easterlies.

Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon, of Visayas and of Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. /cbb
