Duterte names Cuy as new DDB chief

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Catalino Cuy as the new chairperson of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).


Duterte signed Cuy’s appointment paper on January 4.

Prior his appointment, Cuy was the officer in charge of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).


Cuy replaced Dionisio Santiago, who was earlier fired by President Duterte for contradicting the information on the number of drug users in the country.                     /kga
