Fire hits residential area in Sampaloc

A fire broke out before noon Thursday in a residential area in Sampaloc, Manila.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) confirmed that the blaze destroyed a house along Galicia Street.

The cause of the fire is still unknown as of posting.

According to the BFP, the fire started around 11:50 a.m. and reached the 3rd alarm few minutes later.

Firefighters managed to put out the fire by 1:34 p.m. /je
