A 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook Davao Occidental on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
According to an advisory by Phivolcs, the earthquake struck East of Sarangani, Davao Occidental at 6:41 a.m. and had a tectonic origin.
The agency said that the tremor had a depth of 64 kilometers.
Phivolcs said it does not expect damage and aftershocks from the earthquake. /kga
