Flights canceled Tuesday due to bad weather

Several flights were canceled Tuesday due to inclement weather brought by tropical depression “Agaton,” airport authorities said.

As of 11 a.m. the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the following canceled flights:

2P 2204 Roxas – Manila
2P 5203 Manila – Roxas
2P 5204 Roxas – Manila
2P 2921 Manila – Legazpi

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that Agaton has intensified with maximum sustained winds of 55  kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of 90 kph.

In its latest bulletin, the weather bureau said that the typhoon was last spotted in the vicinity of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. /cbb
