About P250,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized from two men in a drug bust in Cubao, Quezon City on Thursday morning.

Pierre Anson Salandanan, 32, a registered nurse, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested at a gasoline station at the corner of New York and West Point Streets in Barangay E. Rodriguez Sr. at 7:10 a.m.

The Quezon City Police District  arrested the duo after brothers Mark Anthony and Mark John Zafra pointed to the two as their suppliers of shabu during an antidrug operation on Dec. 21 in Payatas.

Seized from the suspects were two big plastic sachets of shabu  weighing about 50 grams. —Jhesset O. Enano
