Boy mauled, stabbed in Lahug

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was badly  mauled and stabbed by a group of unidentified men in barangay Lahug, Cebu City, at dawn Tuesday.

The teenager  was walking with a friend when six men, who hid inside a parked passenger jeepney, attacked him.

The boy’s friend ran for safety.

The boy was stabbed in the body with an icepick. He was also struck in the head with a rock.

The assailants ran off when they spotted  tanods approaching.

Tanods brought the victim to a Cebu City hospital.

Police said the incident could be gang-related.
