68 flights cancelled Sunday as ‘Urduja’ loses steam

(Updated) Local airlines cancelled 68 flights on Sunday even as the weather bureau downgraded weather disturbance “Urduja” into a tropical depression.

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the cancellation of the following flights as of 2:30 p.m.:

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 was still raised over southern parts of Luzon and parts of the Visayas.

Urduja is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday morning, according to the weather bureau. /cbb
