/ 06:35 AM December 16, 2017

A son and namesake of billionaire businessman Lucio Tan has alerted the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) about the vehicles that had been “suspiciously tailing” him since last month.

According to QCPD director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, Lucio Tan Jr. filed a report on Friday saying that he noticed a white Toyota Altis with no license plate following his vehicle up to the gate of Corinthian Gardens, where he lives, on the night of Nov. 30.

Around midnight of Dec. 4, two men on a motorbike followed him from Century Park Hotel also up to Corinthians, the report added.

Tan, president of Tanduay Distillers Inc. and director of Philippine National Bank and Eton Properties Inc., also reported receiving “suspicious phone calls.” —Jhesset O. Enano
