LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN—Two motorcycle riders were killed while two others were injured on Wednesday (Dec. 13) in two separate road crashes in Pangasinan province.
In San Nicolas town, Romeo Esporsado, 52, was killed when his motorcycle fell into an irrigation canal as he drove home to Barangay (village) San Felipe East about 7:30 p.m.
Police said Esporsado had attended different parties and was drunk when he drove home.
In Anda town, Jomary Garce, 18, did not reach the hospital alive after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another motorcycle about 11:30 p.m. in Barangay Awile.
Police said Garce, who was a backrider, suffered injuries in different parts of his body.
Garce’s driver, Jestony Celeste, 18, was apparently dazzled by the bright light of a motorcycle on the opposite lane, causing him to swerve and collide with the motorcycle.
Celeste and Rolly Cerdan 24, driver of the other motorcycle, were injured and were treated in a hospital in neighboring Bolinao town. Gabriel Cardinoza
