Bring an umbrella, light rain forecast on Tuesday

Three weather systems would bring scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms in the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Tuesday.

According to its 4 a.m. bulletin, the tail-end of cold front would bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread of rainshowers and thunderstorms to the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.

Metro Manila, the Cagayan valley region, Aurora, and the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos, and the rest of Central Luzon, would have cloudy skies with light rain due to the northeast monsoon.

Meanwhile, the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) would prevail over Mindanao, Mimaropa, and the rest of Visayas.

The LPA was spotted at 450 kilometers, east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
