The Philippine National Police (PNP) vows to maintain strong drive in its drug operations in support of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), following President Rodrigo Duterte’s order for it to take an active part again in the war on drugs.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the PNP said it would be “unwavering” in its duty to follow Duterte.

The PNP issues the statement after Duterte signed a memorandum ordering the PNP and other law enforcement agencies to support PDEA’s anti-narcotics operation.
