Domestic flights cancelled amid bad weather

Several domestic flights were cancelled Friday due to inclement weather.

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) has announced the cancellation that  as of 9 a.m., the following flights were cancelled:

Cebu Pacific 5J 321/322  Manila – Legazpi – Manila
Cebu Pacific  5J 506/507  Manila – Tuguegarao – Manila
PAL Express  2P 2084/2085  Manila – Basco – Manila
5J- Cebu Pacific
2P- PAL Express

In the latest weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), a northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan” is affecting Northern  and  Central Luzon while a tail-end of a cold front is affecting th eastern section of Southern Luzon.

The weather bureau said the public could expect overcast skied as well as scattered rain showers and  thunderstorms in most  parts of the county this Friday./kga
