Bad weather cancels flights to Bicol region – MIAA

Several flights to the Bicol region have been canceled due to inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said on Friday.

Based on the MIAA advisory posted on its Facebook page, the following flights were canceled as of 8:00 a.m.:

Cebu Pacific flight no. 5J 321, Legaspi-Manila

Cebu Pacific flight no. 5J 322, Manila-Legaspi

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the Bicol region as well as the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon would experience cloudy skies and scattered rains and thunderstorms brought about by a low pressure area (LPA).         /kga
