/ 05:17 AM November 12, 2017

A woman was killed and three others were wounded when a lone gunman opened fire on a group of residents playing bingo on Friday afternoon in Caloocan City.

The police said Zenaida de los Santos, 48, died on the spot after being shot at least four times.

The wounded were identified as Michael Medalla, 20; Liza Ollosa, 34; and a 13-year-old boy, all residents of Barangay 187.

De los Santos and the others were playing bingo just outside Medalla’s house on Dahlia Street around 2:30 p.m. when the assailant approached and starting shooting.

It was believed that the shooter was only targeting De los Santos but the others were hit by stray bullets.

The attacker remained at large as of Saturday and investigators have yet to establish the motive for the killing. —Krixia Subingsubing
