SAN JOSE CITY – A 49-year-old mechanic was arrested on All Saints’ Day (November 1) for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old vendor inside a cemetery in Nueva Ecija.

Marcelo Cartilla was caught embracing the girl, a grade five pupil selling boiled quail eggs and peanuts in a graveyard located in Barangay (village) Sto. Niño II this city.

“Kung gusto mong makaubos ng paninda sumama ka sa akin (If you want to sell all your wares come with me),” Cartilla allegedly told the girl.
