Trailer of container van falls on its side in Manila, snarls traffic

MANILA, Philippines — A container van whose trailer was dislodged along Romualdez Street approaching Ayala Bridge in Manila early morning Tuesday snarled traffic going to the Manila City Hall, an officer of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

“Tumagilid yung trailer ng container van before 6 a.m. [The container van fell on its side before 6 a.m.],” Dang Rosulada of the MMDA Metrobase said, adding that the vehicle is still blocking the road as of 9:30 a.m.
