Several Makati roads closed from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2

Several roads in Makati City will be closed from midnight of Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 for this year’s observation of “Undas.”

Affected streets are Kalayaan (from Zapote Street to N. Garcia Street); South Avenue (from Metropolitan Avenue to J.P. Rizal Street); Vito Cruz (from South Avenue to Zapote) and Pililia (from J.P. Rizal to Kalayaan).

Traffic will also be rerouted in the following areas:

• From Guadalupe to Manila and vice versa: Take J.P. Rizal toward destination
• From Ayala central business district (CBD) to Circuit Makati: Take Ayala Avenue, left turn Yakal, right turn on Chino Roces Avenue toward destination
• From Zapote to Ayala CBD: Take J.P. Rizal, right turn N. Garcia Street, left turn Gil Puyat Avenue toward destination
• From Edsa/Jupiter area to Vito Cruz: Left turn N. Garcia, right turn Gil Puyat toward destination
• From Mandaluyong to CBD: take Makati Avenue toward destination

The city government also announced that the number coding scheme would be lifted only on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
