US Embassy in Manila closed Oct. 31-Nov.1

The United States Embassy in Manila will be closed on October 31 and November 1, as the country commemorates All Saints’ Day, its Information Office announced on Friday.

In a statement, the US Embassy said: “The Embassy of the United States in the Philippines and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Tuesday, October 31 and Wednesday, November 1 for Philippine holidays.”

The US Embassy, however, would be open on Monday, October 30, and resume operations on Thursday, November 2.

Malacañang has declared November 1 as a special non-working holiday and October 31 as a non-working day. /kga
