Typhoon “Paolo” (international name Lan) will continue to dump rains over parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Wednesday afternoon.
Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are seen over Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, ARMM and Soccsksargen, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila, Calabarzon, rest of Visayas and Mindanao, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Aurora.

Paolo packed maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 145 kph. It continued to move 16 kph north northwest.
The typhoon was last observed 910 kilometers east of Legazpi City.
A low pressure area was estimated at 335 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City, which will bring light to moderate rains thunderstorms in Palawan.
The rest of Luzon will have cloudy to cloudy skies apart from the isolated rains mostly in the afternoon or evening. /je
