CITY OF CALAPAN – Operatives have arrested a village councilor in this city in a buy-bust operation around noon on Monday.
Suspect Fredelito Tendido, 45, councilor of Barangay Canubing I, was arrested in his own village in a buy-bust operation around 12:10 p.m. and yielded a sachet of alleged “shabu” (methampethamine hydrochloride) along with P500-marked money.
Police records showed that Tendido surrendered to the Calapan City police as a “drug user” during the “Oplan Tokhang” on July 18, 2016.
However, subsequent monitoring and validation conducted against him revealed his involvement on illegal drugs as a “drug pusher”.
Tendido is listed as “Level 1” in Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police’s top drug personalities. /kga
