The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday that a trough of a low pressure area (LPA) will bring rains in parts of the country.
In its bulletin, the state weather bureau noted that Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with rains and thunderstorms.
According to Pagasa, the LPA was last observed 500 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.
Weather forecaster Obet Badrina, however, said this weather disturbance is likely to dissipate.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies apart from isolated rain showers mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Coastal waters in Luzon will be moderate to occasionally rough, while Visayas and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, Pagasa noted. /kga
