2 village councilors found dead in Oriental Mindoro

CITY OF CALAPAN-Two village councilors in Bulalacao town in Oriental Mindoro province were found dead on Friday noon, a police report said.

Based on initial investigation, village resident Henry Magtanggol went to the Bulalacao police station to report the discovery of the bodies around 11:30 a.m. in Barangay Benli.

Police identified the victims as Benli council members Erning Aykid and Aylan Lantoy. Both sustained bullet wounds in their bodies.

Recovered from the scene were four bullet shells from a .45 cal. Pistol, police said.  /kga
