2 men found dead in Marikina river, subdivision

Two men were found dead in separate locations in Marikina City on Thursday morning.

A report to Senior Supt. Roger Quesada, the city police chief, said a body was found floating in Marikina River around 6 a.m. in Tumana.

The victim, who was wearing only black underwear, was described to be between 15 to 20 years old and 5’5” tall. Crime scene investigators from the Eastern Police District noted that he had a head injury.

Around 4 a.m., the body of another unidentified man was found with several stab wounds on Champagnat Street, Rancho 1 Subdivision, Concepcion Dos. He was wearing a red shirt and denim pants, appeared to be 45-50 years old and around 5 feet in height. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
