DID YOU KNOW: Philippine Medicine Day
Philippine Medicine Day is observed every 15th of September by virtue of Proclamation No. 407 signed on Sept. 2, 1953 by then President Elpidio Quirino. According to the proclamation, it is necessary to realize the importance of availing one’s self of the services of the medical profession as well as the mission to maintain and promote the health of the people. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
