An 83-year-old businessman shot his 50-year-old son dead in front of the latter’s Quezon City home on Friday, reportedly after a heated argument over money.

Police said John Sy was killed by his father, Antonio, as he was getting into his vehicle on Dampol Street, Damar Village, around 7:15 a.m.

Investigation by the Quezon City Police District showed that the suspect arrived at his son’s house early that morning to confront him about financial matters.
