Gunmen on motorcycle kill Antipolo police official
Motorcycle-riding men shot and killed a deputy police precinct commander in Antipolo City at 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
A report from the Rizal Provincial Police Office identified the victim as PO3 Rodolfo Billodo Jr., 44, deputy commander of the Antipolo Police Community Precinct 2 and a resident of Barangay Mambugan in the city.
Witnesses told investigators that Billodo was drunk when he drove his vehicle on 4th Street, Virginia Summerville.
Two men on a motorcycle then approached him and shot him repeatedly.
Supt. Reynold Rosero, Antipolo police chief, said on Wednesday that Billodo had at least seven gunshot wounds in the head and 18 in the body.
He died on the spot as the two men fled with his service firearm.

The police said they were looking into a family feud as one of the motives in the victim’s killing as he was facing several complaints filed by some relatives over a piece of property.
He was also not on good terms with the family of his live-in partner, they added.
“He had a lot of enemies. He was unruly when he was drunk so we are looking into two angles: crime of passion and a land dispute,” Rosero told the Inquirer. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
