The man who accused Joavan Fernandez of hitting him with a bottle in the head finally showed at the Talisay City Police Station.

Aranas presented a medical certificate that he would use in filing charges against Joavan.

SPO1 Joel Rosales, investigator of Talisay City police, said they would have to get the testimony of witnesses before charges could be filed against Joavan.

Rosales said Joavan could only be charged for slight physical injuries since Aranas’ medical certificate stated Aranas injuries could be healed within three to five days.

Aranas accused Joavan of hitting him with a bottle of Tanduay Ice in a fast-food chain in barangay Tabunok last Wednesday dawn.

Aranas alleged that Joavan attacked him after he warned him not to mess with his female friend.

Joavan denied provoking the girl and said it was Aranas who stared at him from head to foot.

Before his appearance at the police station, police have been looking for Aranas to investigate the incident.
