Manila-Basco flights cancelled as ‘Isang’ nears northern islands

At least four domestic flights were cancelled Monday due to the bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced.

Tropical cyclone warning signal number 2 was raised over the Batanes group of islands as of 5 a.m. on Monday, the state weather bureau Pagasa said.

Subsequently, the MIAA announced the cancellation of the following flights between Manila and Batanes:

Skyjet M8 816/817 – Manila to Basco to Manila

Pal Express 2P 2084/2P 2085 – Manila to Basco to Manila
