Fire razes school building in Pangasinan
DAGUPAN CITY—A two-hour fire gutted a school building on Friday night at Bugallon town in Pangasinan province.
PO1 Franklin Aquino, Bugallon police desk officer, said two classrooms and the principal’s office of the Laguit-Padilla Elementary School were damaged by the blaze that started around 8:30 p.m.
Investigators said the fire was put under control at about 10:30 p.m.
No one was reported hurt during the fire.
Aquino said that investigators were still determining how much was lost in the fire.
He also said that based on initial report, the fire may have been caused by electrical wiring that malfunctioned. JPV
