MANILA, Philippines— Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and the thunderstorms due to an intertropical convergence zone affecting the region, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said Friday.

The rest of the country  will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening, the state weather bureau said.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and the coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough, Pagasa said.

Light to moderate to winds coming from the east to southeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon and Visayas coming from the northeast to north over Mindanao. The coastal waters along these areas will be light to moderate, it added.
