Senator Francis Pangilinan condemned on Monday the spate of killings over a span of five days.

(Should we just keep quiet and do nothing? Is life still worth anything?) Pangilinan said in a statement.

Pangilinan enumerated the murder of a former media man and his brother in San Juan, a Pasay City councilor, and a Butuan City judge.

“Lahat ito nangyari sa loob lamang ng limang araw,” (All this happened in just five days) said Pangilinan, who is also president of the Liberal Party.

The senator also questioned the lack of respect to human rights following the recent killings.

The senator also threw shade at President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs marred with alleged “extrajudicial killings.”

Kahit sino,” the senator said. CBB
