Homeowner catches burglar in Manila

A 47-year-old man was arrested on Sunday for breaking into a fruit vendor’s house in Manila.

A report from the Raxabago police station identified the burglar as Aldrin Pascua of Barangay 104.

He was arrested at 2:30 a.m. after the homeowner, Shirley Mendoza, saw him inside her house.

She promptly asked for help from her neighbors who called up the police.

Mendoza said Pascua took her cell phone and wallet containing P1,500 in cash.
