LUCENA CITY – One of the top drug suspects in Quezon province was shot dead while sleeping inside his house in Tayabas City shortly before midnight Saturday, police said.

A report from the Quezon police said Marlon Zafranco, 45, was killed by a bonnet-wearing gunman armed with a .45-caliber pistol at about 11:30 p.m.
