NAIA flights from Taipei cancelled as Typhoon Gorio batters Taiwan

MANILA — Three flights to and from Taipei, Taiwan, were cancelled at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday as Typhoon Gorio battered the island after exiting the Philippine Area of responsibility.

In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority, said the cancelled morning flights from Taipei were China Airlines flight 701, Cebu Pacific flight 5J-311 and AirAsia Zest flight Z2-129. China Airlines flight 702 to Taipei was also cancelled.

The MIAA advised relatives of passengers and other welcomers to coordinate with the airlines for the rescheduled flights.  SFM
