Fire hits Caloocan neighborhood

MANILA, Philippines—Some roads along Caloocan City were closed to traffic temporarily Thursday after fire hit a residential area, an official said.

The blaze on Malonzo and Samson roads in Sangandaan that started at 9:30 a.m. reached Task Force Alpha at 9:49 a.m. before being put under control at 10:19 a.m, said Fire Officer 2 Noel Soriano said Thursday.
