The Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized P1.5 million worth of steel pipes from China on June 23 at the Port of Davao.

In a statement, the BOC said the steel pipes were initially declared as square tubes.

The shipment arrived on June 23 and was misdeclared as 2,060 packages of square tubes consigned to Yagnas 08 Importation Trading.
