PAL donates P2M for soldiers fighting in Marawi

Philippine Airlines has turned over a P2-M check to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for the soldiers fighting terrorists in Marawi City.

The check was  personally received by Rear Admiral Narciso Vingson, AFP Deputy Chief of Staff, from PAL Chairman Dr. Lucio C. Tan assisted by PAL president Jaime Bautista and Basic Holdings Corp. president Lt. Gen. Salvador Mison (ret.) in simple rites.

Tan lauded the courage and sacrifice of those in the frontlines and thanked the AFP for their loyal service to the nation.

PAL’s donation was in response to numerous calls to both government and private institutions for support and assistance to soldiers fighting to retake Marawi City from the terrorist Maute group. CBB/rga
