A magnitude of 3.0 earthquake struck Ilocos Norte early Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the quake that hit at 4:59 a.m. was located nine kilometers southwest of Adams. It was tectonic in origin.
No damages and aftershocks were reported.
Phivolcs said a 2.6-magnitude tremor was also recorded in Isabela at 1:23 a.m., 84 kilometers northeast of Divilacan.No damages or aftershocks were also reported.
