Rehabilitation plan for ‘world’s worst airport’ approved, says designer Cobonpue

MANILA, Philippines-—A video showing the latest planned renovation design of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 1 was released through the Facebook page of Kenneth Cobonpue Tuesday.

The video description said that the NAIA-1 Renovation Plan has been approved by the NAIA Board and Department of Transportation and Communications Secretary Manuel Roxas.

President Benigno Aquino III earlier said in an interview with YouTube Wordview website that the NAIA rehabilitation plan would be submitted Tuesday.

The renovation plan was a project of the National Competitiveness Council Philippines in cooperation with Manila International Airport Authority.
