DSWD’s Taguiwalo faces confirmation hearing anew
Department of Social Welfare and Development DSWD Secretary Judy Taguiwalo was back at the Commission on Appointments committee on labor, employment and social welfare for her confirmation hearing on Wednesday.
Taguiwalo was reappointed by President Rodrigo Duterte after she failed to get the CA approval before Congress went on a six-week recess last March 15.
Also bypassed but reappointed by the President were Environment Secretary Gina Lopez, Health Secretary Paulyn Ubial and Agrarian Reform Secretary Rafael Mariano. IDL
