Man comatose after ‘love triangle’ shooting in Isabela

SAN MATEO, Isabela — A 63-year-old man went into a coma after being shot three times on Thursday night (April 27) in what police described as a crime of passion.

Rogelio Andres Sr. was attacked by Dominador Valdez, 43, who believed that the victim was his wife’s lover.

Both men reside in Barangay Sinamar Norte here, police said.

Andres is being treated at a hospital for three bullet wounds in his head and body, said Supt. Manuel Bringas, chief of the Isabela police investigation unit.
