7 killed in Bulacan drug busts

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, BULACAN — Seven suspects were killed while 28 were arrested in drug operations conducted by the police from Tuesday to Thursday in four Bulacan towns.

Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan police director, said the fatalities fought the police who were conducting drug operations.

At 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, a suspect identified only as “Bonad” and his two unidentified companions were shot dead during a drug bust in Barangay (village) Daungan in Guiguinto town.

John Vier San Jose was killed at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday in Barangay San Agustin in Hagonoy town.

At 8:45 p.m. on the same day, a suspect identified as “Asbok” was killed in Barangay Longos in Pulilan town.

On Tuesday, Bryan Gallino and Marlon Bertulfo were killed in a clash with the police at 11:30 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion in Norzgaray town.

Recovered from the slain suspects were two .38 caliber revolvers, shotguns, ammunitions, and shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride). JE/rga
