The drug charges against Senator Leila de Lima have been raffled off to Branches 204, 205 and 206 of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court.
Last Friday, three separate cases for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act were filed against De Lima.

After the raffle, records of the charges will be forwarded to each court to determine if there is probable cause to issue a warrant of arrest.
“Before issuing the warrant of arrest, the judge needs to determine probable cause,” Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said in a text message.
He said once an arrest warrant has been issued, they will ask the court to issue a hold departure order. JE/rga
