Some bitter words uttered in the heat of the moment resulted in a P20,000 fine slapped on Talk ‘N Text coach Nash Racela. All riled up over the officiating, Racela slammed the referees for allegedly favoring San Miguel Beer in their Final Four series in the PBA Philippine Cup. The  rookie mentor alleged that the game officials treated the Beermen “special on the calls” after his Texters dropped a 97-86 decision in Game 4 of the best-of-seven semifinal duel. The Office of the Commissioner, though, didn’t let the comment pass and moved to sanction Racela for comments “detrimental to the league.” San Miguel sports director Alfrancis Chua also fired back: “I hope he sticks to coaching.” But Racela had put the incident behind. “Less is more. Less talk is better,” he said. The Texters lost last night’s Game 6 to the Beermen.
