AFP chief, 29 other military officers get CA nod
The Commission on Appointments has confirmed the ad interim appointments of 30 senior military officers, including Armed Forces chief General Eduardo Año.
Aside from Año, the CA approved the appointments of the following military officers:

- Emmanueal Joaquin Guina to the rank of Brigadier General
- Edmund Dante Janda to the rank of Brigadier General
- Herminigildo Francisco Aquino to the rank of Major General

- Samuel Gotico to the rank of Brigadier General
- Isidro Purisima to the rank of Brigadier General
- Ernesto Ravina Jr. to the rank of Brigadier General
- Rene Medina to the rank of Rear Admiral
- Enrique Reyes to the rank of Major General
- Joselito Reyes to the rank of Major General
- Earl Baliao to the rank of Brigadier General
