A 61-year-old man was killed while his 32-year-old daughter was seriously injured when a delivery van hit and pinned them down as they were traveling on a mountain bike in Pasig City Tuesday morning.

The police identified the fatality as Ernesto Abuel of Barangay Bambang and the injured bike passenger as his daughter Deborah.

SPO2 Joehan Vega, the case investigator, said the elder Abuel was taking his daughter to her workplace, a grocery on C5-Road in Barangay Ugong, when they were sideswiped by a van driven by Wilfredo Rafols.
