Real estate agent killed in Benguet town

BAGUIO CITY — A real estate broker was shot dead inside a vehicle on Tuesday night in Benguet capital, La Trinidad.

Roberto Obido, 52, a native of Samar, Leyte, was declared dead on arrival at the Pines City Doctors Hospital at 9:35 p.m.

The gunman shot Obido who was inside a red Innova car at 8:25 p.m.

Obido’s wife, Imelda, said the last time she saw her husband was at 7:40 a.m. when he drove her to work, before Obido proceeded to La Trinidad town to meet a friend and get his license.

Police investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from a store near the crime scene, hoping to determine who shot Obido and why he was attacked. JE
