Candelaria ‘pusher’ falls in raid

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested an alleged major shabu supplier in Candelaria, Quezon, during a raid at his house Wednesday morning.

Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, Quezon police director, said policemen swooped down on the house of Antonio Mindanao, alias “Tony Mindanao,” in Barangay (village) Malabanban at about 6 a.m.

The lawmen were armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Agripino Morga of the Regional Trial Court in San Pablo City,

The police tagged Mindanao as a notorious drug pusher and one of the major sources of “shabu” in Candelaria and nearby Sariaya town.

Seized during the raid were three sachets of suspected shabu, a digital weighing scale, drug paraphernalia and a caliber .45 pistol with nine bullets.
